A fragile flower found on sidewalk,
Broken from its bush.
Landed hard,
Still intact, just bruised.

Bruises, with age, seem harder to heal and more common. Like the constantly new spots on Powpow's arms that he can't seem to stop, but still protected beneath thin skin and yes, still intact. I think I understand, maybe.
